Whether
you are new to the area, or have lived here for years; whether you have
been a Christian for many years or have just decided to come to church
for the first time, we hope that you feel at home here.
We hope that
we are a friendly and welcoming church – a church where anyone
and everyone can find out about the God who made us and who loves us.
Our different services on Sunday have very different styles, but at all
of them we want to draw closer to God, praising him for all the good
things he does for us, and learning from the Bible how we can respond
to him.
Christ Church is made up of many different people, and our services reflect
those differences. Our 9.00 am service is our most traditional, whilst
at 10.45 am our family service is more informal – we are used to
having children running around, in fact it is good to see them enjoying
being part of church. Our 6.30 pm service is also very informal, and
often more reflective. More can be
found out about the services on the services page
But what happens on Sunday is
only a small part of Christ Church. Getting to know new people can be difficult,
especially if there are a lot of people around, but during the week our ‘home-groups’ make it much easier
to build friendships within the church. And then there are many other activities
during the week – most of which you will find mentioned in the events
page
